Sin City was easily one of the best movies of 2005 and that was because of two people, Director Robert Rodriguez and Writer/Director/Creator Frank Miller. Well with Sin City being such a big success we all knew it wouldn’t be long until Frank got to work on his next comic book adaptation; enter 300.

300 is the movie adaptation of Miller’s graphic novel; set in 480BC it follows the story of the Spartan King Leonidas and his 300 Royal Guards as they go into battle against the entire Persian army who are on a mission to conquer all of Greece. The Spartan’s were out numbered one hundred thousand to one but they had no choice if they wanted to save their country.

300 in a similar way to Sin City has a sort of CG filter on it giving the movie a dark, surreal, and gritty look.
