Writer, director and producer David Goyer (writer of all the Blade movies, Dark City and Batman Begins as well as writer of upcoming movies Thor, The Flash, The Dark Knight and Captain America) hasn’t been as successful on the small screen as he has on the big.

His first foray into TV was Threshold which was promptly cancelled halfway through a season; mainly because the only thing good in it was Peter Dinklage, that guy can out act people twice his size, though it helps if you put him in a movie with Vin Diesel (Find Me Guilty).

Goyer was happy to move on to Blade: The Series which managed to make it through a whole season before according to co-star Jill Wagner is to be promptly cancelled. Wagner announced to her friends on her MySpace that she was informed the show won’t be picked up for a second season; no word on a fourth movie.

The series has yet to air on Australian TV though should premier any day now that its cancelled and cheap. The show staring Sticky Fingaz wasn’t bad though casting a rapper who apart from being black looks nothing like Wesley Snipes, was a stupid idea. Pretty much the only thing going for the show was its cool factor, that and the fact that half the cast is Australian; which is weird since its filmed in Canada.

What do I think of his upcoming movies?
The Dark Knight (2008) > Captain America (2009) > The Flash (2006) > Thor (2009).
