Apple recently updated their site with a bunch of new trailers so I figured I would give you guys the run down on them.

We Are Marshall

Before you scream “OMFG not another NFL movie!” this one is slightly different. This movie is supposably less about the sport and more about the community behind the team. The movie starring Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox (Lost) is about the true story of when the Marshall University Football team and some of its fans are killed in a plane crash, and how the local community, the new coach (McConaughey) and the surviving players try to keep the football program running.

Home of the Brave

Home of the Brave is the story of four soldiers who get back from the war in Iraq and have to try and cope with what happened during the war. This trailer screams crap, its badly edited, uses old over used songs and the movie co-stars Curtis Jackson also known as the horrible rapper and actor 50 Cent. Only redeeming features are Samuel L. Jackson’s coolness and Jessica Biel’s hotness, and even then it’s not enough for me to give a shit about this movie.

A bad looking comedy staring the fat Martin Lawrence, oh I mean Cedric the Entertainer; though it does co-stars Lucy Liu and she’s fine as hell. The plot? Something about him being a spy and losing his memory.

Surf’s Up

An animated mocumentary (fake comedic documentary) about surfing penguins… well at least it’s something different and not just zoo animals escaping into the wild for the 40th time. Stars Shia LaBeouf, James Woods, Jon Heder, Jeff Bridges, Zooey Deschanel, and Jane Krakowski.

Casino Royale

Same Bond trailer I previously posted; apple takes there time. Oh and its all kinds of kick-arse.

Sweet Land

A romantic drama about a mail order German bride set in rural Minnesota post WWI. I’m not the type of person to write off a movie just because it’s a “chick flick” but god damn this seems boring. It does star some great actors though, Alan Cumming, Tim Guinee, John Heard.

Deliver Us From Evil

A documentary about sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. The trailer is well edited, great name, and fantastic song choice (Johnny Cash – God’s Gonna Cut You Down), but ultimately if you don’t find this subject interesting you probably won’t like the documentary.

Saw III

I have never liked the Saw movies but if you do, you don’t need to tell you to see it.
