Update: Variety have just announced that Laurence Fishburne will actually be voicing the Silver Surfer and not Galactis. It is still unknown how Galactis will be featured in the film but it’s rumoured he will be a “giant storm cloud”, whatever the hell that means.

A slew of casting news has been released this week, if you count three as a slew.

“Okey dokey Dr. Jones. Hold on to your potatoes.“

First up, Shia “Is in everything” LaBeouf has been confirmed he will be staring in the highly anticipated Indiana Jones 4. Shia hasn’t confirmed that he will be playing Indy’s son, only stating, “I can tell you I’m sort of the sidekick character… it’s not going to be Short Round, all grown up.” No word yet on wether or not Sean “sauce and sausage sandwich” Connery will be reprising his role as Dr. Henry Jones, but we can hope.

Fun “Fact”: I was born on the same day, month and year as Shia LaBeouf. Also Short Round is awesome and should be in IJ4.

Secondly, it has been confirmed that Eric “Pewtor” Bana will not be staring in the upcoming Hulk sequel, The Incredible Hulk. Instead another incredible actor has taken the role; Edward Norton. Norton who is undeniebly a fantastic actor is an extremely odd choice as the director Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, Unleashed) has stated that he will be making a much less serious and more action packed movie then the first. Norton is most known for his more serious roles in American History X and Fight Club, than again he has proven that you don’t want to piss him off when he gets mad.

Fun “Fact”: Steve Buscemi would be my ideal Bruce Banner.

Lastly, Laurence “Nearly O.D’ed on red pills” Fishburne has been cast as the voice of Galactus in the upcoming sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. We can only hope (though it seems unlikely) that this movie won’t suck.
