In a very strange sponsorship deal, Blizzard have signed up with First National Bank to present the “World of Warcraft VISA Credit Card”.

This card will offer a variety of cool features for WoW players, mainly the ability to gain game time via purchases and usage of the card.

A free month of WoW time is given with any purchase of the VISA, and the card comes in 13 nice styles featuring a variety of WoW artwork.

A fun idea, but wouldn’t this specific card be really limited to people who enjoy WoW? I guess it’s no great loss to anyone if this idea flops, other than the presumably large amount of money that swapped hands between First National Bank and Blizzard. The selection of artwork for the cards would be enough to convince me.
