Saturday Night Live has always had at least one pop culture cast member, someone who young adults find the funniest, like John Belushi, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, and Adam Sandler. The new person to fill that position is without a doubt Andy Samberg, and it shows as SNL ratings have spiked and his digital shorts have quickly became the reason for watching the show.
