The fine folks organising the upcoming Armageddon Expo recently changed their guest line up with Adam West (Batman), Julie Newmar (Cat Woman), David Wohl and Ray Park (Darth Maul), not being able to make the expo. Now this is sad news for Melbourne and Sydney based Batman fans but everyone else don’t fret too much because some pretty cool people have come in to fill those blue booties.

A favourite of mine Alan Tudyk will be at the event, who you might know as Walsh in the short lived but much beloved Firefly series and subsequent movie Serenity. He is also quite hilarious as Steve the Pirate in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and as Wat Falhurst in A Knight’s Tale. He also played the second lead in I, Robot as the robot Sonny, was in this years blockbuster comedy Knocked Up, and has two roles in the much anticipated films 3:10 to Yuma and Death at a Funeral.

Also to fill the bat shaped void is Star Trek: Enterprise star Connor “Trip” Trinneer, who also more recently appeared in Stargate: Atlantis as Michael “Wraithface” Kenmore.

Being a big fan of Alan Tudyk, I am even more stoked about the Armageddon expo than before but I can understand how some people might be sad about not getting to meet Adam West. Sorry Jordan you will have to wait until next year to show him your boy wonder costume.
