2007 EnhanceTV ATOM Awards

Australian media is an important part of the Australian sociology and economy. So it’s always good when non-profit organisations like the Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) contribute greatly to Australian media in general and award those who excel in its various fields. Tomorrow (Friday 19th October 2007) will hold the 2007 EnhanceTV ATOM Awards which are a cause for celebration as they recognise excellence in over thirty categories of Film, Television, Animation and Multimedia. But also this year they will also be celebrating the ATOM Awards silver anniversary (25 years) and introducing a new category, Best Multi-modal Production, and sub-category, the Images of Age Documentary sub-category.

This years awards will be hosted at beautiful Regent Theatre in Melbourne by Master of Ceremonies, comedian Alan Brough (Spicks & Specks, The Panel). So come and celebrate the pursuit – and achievement – of excellence in film, television, animation and multimedia, with some of industry’s greats including Rachel Ward, Adam Elliot (Harvie Krumpet), Working Dog Productions (The Castle, Thank God You’re Here), and Golden Globe-winning, Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-nominated Australian film and television actress Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under, Brothers & Sisters).
