Developer: Ready At Dawn
Publisher: SCE
Available On: PSP

Brutal – the best way to describe the God Of War series. The first two titles have been some of the PS2′s best sellers, with God Of War 2 being a defining milestone in the end of the consoles era. The series has been well received for not only it’s addictive and frantic combat but also the unrelenting character of Kratos, the extreme violence and action with huge scale combat and an involving story against a well presented mythological world. From Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures comes IRON MAN, an action-packed take on the tale of wealthy philanthropist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), who develops an invulnerable robotic suit to fight the throes of evil. In addition to being filthy rich, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark is also a genius inventor. When Stark is kidnapped and forced to build a diabolical weapon, he instead uses his intelligence and ingenuity to construct an indestructible suit of armor and escape his captors. Once free, Stark discovers a deadly conspiracy that could destabilize the entire globe, and dons his powerful new suit on a mission to stop the villains and save the world. Gwyneth Paltrow co-stars as his secretary, Virginia “Pepper” Potts, while Terrence Howard fills the role of Jim “Rhodey” Rhodes, one of Stark’s colleagues, whose military background leads him to help in the formation of the suit. Jon Favreau directs, with Marvel movie veterans Avi Arad and Kevin Feige producing.

Jordan’s Top 5 Games For 2007.

2007 was quite a year for gaming, and while it may already be late April, that doesn’t mean I can’t post what I should have about 3 months ago and reflect on a kick ass year.

Here’s my list of top games for 2007. It was a hard year with so many blockbusters bursting out on every platform and genre, but a few gems really stood out.

Looking at this list makes me wonder if 2008 will provide another year of similar quality, but with the likes of Spore, Metal Gear Solid 4, Super Smash Bros. Brawl (somewhat already out) and so much more on the horizon, we’re clearly currently in a golden age of gaming. Enjoy.

Australia Needs To Mature Up

r18.pngThe ongoing debate for the introduction of an R18+ classification for video games in Australia was taken official on March 28th at a meeting of the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General.

There are many arguments supporting and defending the push for Adult Only games to be sold in Australia – so much in fact that a decision was not finalised last week, but extended out for the public’s approval. And we all know what happens when the public get involved. Read more [+]

Mongol trailer

This is the first time I’m hearing about the Genghis Khan biopic, Mongol, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look freaking awesome. Written and directed by Sergei Bodrov (director of nothing you have ever seen) Mongol tells the story of Genghis Khan’s harsh early life before he grew up to be the conqueror of half the world.

Supanova Expo Melbourne 2008: Michael Winslow

This was my first Supanova expo (as it was the first Melbourne Supanova) however I have been to other pop culture expos and I went in to this one expecting to be significantly entertained and I wasn’t disappointed. Though how much enjoyment you will get out of the Supanova expo would depend on your interests. My interests were of course in the realm of film and television and due to the fact I was only able to attend one day (Sunday 30th March), the JB Hi-Fi Seminar room was were I spent most of my day. Here is the first Q&A presentation I attended.
