Joblo Hulks out!

The lucky folks at Joblo got their grubby mitts on a bunch of cool Hulk videos, including interviews with Edward Norton and Lou Ferrigno. If there is one thing I got from these videos it’s that once again Edward Norton has completely involved himself in a film. He seems to genuinely believe in and be proud of The Incredible Hulk. Check them all out below.

Guitar Hero World Tour

Normally when a game or franchise is ripped off so blatantly, I find it deserving of some criticism, but not in this case.

Since Harmonix left behind their Guitar Hero creation and joined forces with EA they’ve clearly left no musical intentions behind with the new Rock Band title being all the musical rage including a full set of peripherals such as drums and a microphone.

Well with Activision still holding firmly onto the Guitar Hero franchise they’re not letting it go or out of Red Octane’s hands, with the annoucement of the now upcoming

Guitar Hero World Tour

Guitar Hero World Tour claims to include a full wireless peripheral package, 8 player “Battle Of The Bands”, DLC for Wii and a Music Studio to record/edit music.

Necessary? No. Awesome? Yes. With a full slew of wireless instrument peripherals, hopefully this will be packaged up the way Rock Band should be. Working, cheaper, and actually out in Australia.

Guitar Hero World Tour is to be published by Activision and developed by Neversoft for XBOX 360 and PS3; by Vicarious Visions for Wii while relatively unknown Budcat Creations will handle the PS2 port.

Let the blog war commence!

It is common practice in the blogging world to link to the source of your news. I do it on every news article that isn’t an exclusive (that’s 100% of them) and I’m proud to do it. I know that the various sites I found this news on worked hard to get an exclusive and I know they deserve recognition for it. Its funny how a blogger who’s only been blogging for a couple of years seems to have more scruples then a couple of the giants of media giants.

These media giants Variety and The Hollywood Reporter have been around for years, both originally print only media they have been forced to and successfully adapted to the internet. However they haven’t adapted their methods of journalism. Scooping machine Latino Review has reported that after the latest lack of source naming by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter they and several other respected sites have decided to no longer list Variety and The Hollywood Reporter as sources for any news items they may scoop. While I can’t help but think this is just sinking to their level of old school journalism I also can’t think of another way to make them think about changing their ways. So from now on this site will no longer link to or source Variety or The Hollywood Reporter.

You can read the full story at Latino Review, Collider, and Hollywood Elsewhere.

Fight the man, man.

Review: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (XBOX 360)

Rainbow Six Vegas 2

The non-stop party culture portrayed by Las Vegas is one to tempt most, an all-night city of glitz, glamour, and… guns. Review: Patapon (PSP)

patapon.jpg

Developer – Pyramid
Publisher - Sony Computer Entertainment
Available on – PSP

Patapon is a very deceiving title. At first glance Patapon is a pretty simple rhythmic strategy game from the developers of LocoRoco, therefore sporting a very similar style of presentation. You know, the style of Japanese ‘creativity’ that both promotes and negates all forms of substance abuse. I wouldn’t recommend any though, Patapon is a constant audio onslaught, appropriately so as gameplay entirely revolves around issuing army commands via well-timed drum beats. Read more [+]
