Team Fortress 2 Increases Net Weight; Same Price
A patch for Team Fortress 2 (known as the ‘Heavy Patch’ for it’s Heavy class specific updates) has just been released featuring a new game mode Arena with 5 maps, Heavy class weapons and achievements, 2 new regular maps and some nice new changes.
Click that smacking gob for Valve’s low down on the patch.
Considering this online FPS gem is available both as part of Valve’s The Orange Box and as a stand-alone package in stores or online (for $19.95) the added value now in Team Fortress 2 urges anyone who hasn’t already to join the expansive community be it on PC, XBOX 360 or Playstation 3.
While there was never really any need for this extra weight it’s definitely being welcomed. As the patches and expansions continue to roll out and servers pack out there’s no questioning Team Fortress 2′s currently dominating position in the FPS community. The blend of class roles against personified characters and maps create a unique FPS experience like none other.
Now with all this work to do on the Heavy class and seven new maps to learn, I’ll see you in the action!

I’m not a fan of this type of FPS. I prefer more realism.
